  1. Default The Unofficial Cancer Fighters!

Something that I have always been interested in is Oncology and probably more so as Cancer has effected my immediate family and to see someone die of it is probably one of the hardest things to go through for all!

However, over the years, theres been sooo many natural and promising drugs and nutraceuticals that I thought Id throw this thread together so I guess we can all chip in.......

Without a doubt, theres been some seriously dubious claims of various extracts, drugs, nutraceuticals, but I beleive that over the past 3 years in particular there have been trials of certain key cancer fighters which have been proven beyond reasonable doubt, to kill cancer cells. Now I dont want to start this thread with WHY they havent been progressed further,as to me the answer is pretty damning and obvious...but I thought Id start with a few extracts!

    Blueberry extract - Shockingly effective

    Pomegranite Extract

    Indole-3-Carbinol - shockingly effective!

    Resvertrol

    Lycopene

    Bilberry Extract

Its pretty shocking to read up on current data on these in lab tests on cancer cells, and the effect the above have on them! Yet there not being progressed or offered as a treatment in there purest form!....at least not fast enough...

Anyone else know of any others?

Laetrile/amygdalin or vitamin B17 [as it was originally called] found in Apricot kernels.

Coley's Toxins literally a vaccine made of various bacteria!

Vitamin D [from exposure to sunlight or via food/supplementation] reduces risk of cancer - could some cancers [at least] be a Vitamin D deficiency disease?

As you mentioned Laetrile youll no doubt know about its history and reputation and the lengths companies went to to discredit it.....but saying that.....I am yet to be convinced by it.....I mean have you read about or actually seen anyone get results from this?...Its a very controversial anti-cancer product.....

Theres a line of thought whereby cancers are or can be assumed as virii.....but thats a totally different angle and thread probably

I think DCA (Dichloroacetate) is a phenomical , or rather has the potential of being a phenominal, psudeo cure for Cancer.....over at another BB site a few have used it for there Parents with shocking results.....but I guess its hard to take it in......until you see a cure yourself...

If you get time take a read of http://www.thedcasite.com/index.html

    Yet again, of interest

DCA is not patentable as a molecule. There is no incentive for private companies to spend the millions of dollars needed to get DCA approved as a cancer treatment by the FDA. This is where we, all of us, need to step in. We intend for TheDCAsite.com to be the meeting place, for the world, where all the important information on DCA is gathered and shared.

My step bro's dad has cancer, he was bald before hand so nothing really changed but he was put on some kind of steroid, he got really big (indeed) and it got alot better (from what i heard). I think my cousin has it as well, i'm not to sure as it's just what i've been told/heard from other members of the family. So while no one has died yet, i feel the pain of maybe losing a family member due to cancer!

And to quote Scrubs "Lets make cancer feel foolish!"

    1. Anyone interested in this subject should read, "World Without Cancer".

    2. You will have noticed that a lot of the substances listed so far are anti-estrogenic. This is because estrogen tends to promote certain types of growth activity. To find out more look up the Trophoblastic Theory Of Cancer.

    3. I, myself, take a pregnancy test every year at least. Don't laugh. Tumours (most, if not all) produce Human Chorioic Gonadotrophin Hormone - which is exactly the same hormone produced during the early stages of pregnancy. See the trophoblastic theory above to see why cancer and pregnancy are identical in many respects.

    4. Don't buy B17 tablets. Go to Julian Graves (sp??) and buy a 250 gram bag of apricot pits instead. It'll cost you about £8 and last months. Eat half a dozen or so every day. I chew mine and then swallow down with a cup of tea. They are quite bitter but you do get used to the taste.

    5. Look up Graviola as well. A small South American tree whose bark and leaves etc contain some unique saponoids (this is from memory so bear with me) that have been seen to destroy cancers cells in the lab and from anecdotal evidence. I keep a tub in the fridge just in case anyone I know gets diagnosed with this condition.

    6. Look up salvestrols. These are chemicals produced by fruits (generally) when under attack by fungi. Picture-perfect supermarket produce will have very little of these chemicals. But you can buy capsules of the stuff from fruitforce.co.uk. Resvertrol was the first one to be discovered, since then dozens more have been added to the list.

    7. Fish oils are known to reduce the incidence of bowel, breast and prostrate cancers at least. Add some to your diet.

    8. Look up Essiac Tea. It is a mild anti-cancer treatment but a useful addition in any case.

    9. Obviously, don't smoke, do drugs, eat mouldy peanuts etc etc.

    10. DON'T EAT SUGAR. Cancer cells do not use their mitrichondria for energy. Instead the cellular protoplasm itself uses the glycolysis of glucose for energy. Eat sugar and you are feeding the cancer. This simple observation forms the basis of the Budwig Diet. Look it up.
