Pretty sure some members on here use caffeine post workout ? Or at least did at one point.
Was reading the metro on the train this morning, and there was this small snippet of a study that observed the effects of consuming carbs post workout and carbs + coffee post workout.
The study found that glycogen levels in the muscle for the group that had carbs + coffee was 66% higher.
Unfortunately it didn't mention any details of the study.

Interesting how there was NO difference between the two groups after one hour but there was after four! Seems to hint as to the reason why there was any difference at all!
