I started using Trytophan, Tyrosine, DLPA and Glutamine to boost neurotransmitter levels as im a bit of an addict meself, would spend all day constantly thinking about fags and weed. I found it worked briliantly. I had been using Glutamine prior to that so was sure it wasnt that that was having the effect. Kept forgetting to take DLPA so that ruled that out. DLPA and Tyrosine do the same thing anyway just think Tyrosine is more effective. I found that Tryptophan and Tyrosine used together (not at same time though!) are the most effective, keeping Serotonin and Dopamine in balance, which is the key. I did find that using too much Tyrosine gave me the jitters so dropped it from 1tsp to 1/2 finally to 1/4 tsp - no jitters, still great effect. I dont find it that great for exercise - makes me breathless. Its important to take both supps on an empty stomach and not at same time as they compete for entry to the brain with each other and with BCAAs
