    True - life is a terminal desease. From the comments I read - he went a bit to far in the conclusions - it's not as bad as it would seem. I would say it's common sense that if you overburden your heart - something sooner or later will fail.

    I think he has a point regarding excessive chronic cardio, i.e running long distances multiple times per week or those people who spend hours and hours on machines at steady states. Marathon runners are not inherantly healthy in my estimation. However, the odd bout of 20-30min runs, HIIT and other cardio including walking is fine.

    It seems we have a problem with moderation on this forum and in general. We're either all cardio or no cardio, 1000g of carbs a day or zero carb. There's something to be said for the middle ground with some aspects of diet and training.

    whats bad for you is doing things intense exersis ie running a marathong as fast as you can etc it puts alot of stress on your heart this is why short sessopns pf ontense excersies ie sprints,weights are better for healthinc heart altho the odd long walk,bike ride v lightly wouldnt have no where near the same stress on the body
