You prob know most of this stuff but:

-Stop training, for now, being relaxed is far more important than training, i'd rather be a 12 stone weakling than be a 16 stone ripped beast who's stressed.
    -Magnesium supps etc.
    -Vit C.
-Basic, healthy diet....don't get stressed about eating anything special.
-Go fishing or something relaxing when you get the chance!
-Relaxing music, it does work! this sort of stuff YouTube - The Most Relaxing Music Ever!- Slow down - by Paul Collier
-Avoid stress where possible and develop a lay backed attitude, hard stuff has gotta be done, most stress is in the mind...worrying about stress itself.

Agreed with RB, when i felt run down I made sure i was getting good quality sleep (regular sleep/wake times), (no strong light in the runup hours before bed to optimise melatonin). The basics, enough food, enough light activity maybe a daily walk or something to keep yourself ticking over, plenty of the good vitamin C,

You've used adaptogens before cheef? Considered a cycle of rhodiola?

This time of year doesn't help - esp if you work - trying going for a walk outdoors at lunch or break time if the sun is shining and get a bit of that on your face usually helps.

Vitamin B5 is also important for "stress" conditions. It strongly supports the adrenal glands. Personally though I'd go for a whole vitamin B complex tablet, not just an isolated one.

All the other suggestions are good though.

Magnesium and some rhodiola. Bath instead of shower. Make love once in a while. Prozac is great.
