tendonitis?
Hi.
I have been getting pain in the upper part of my forearm for about 9 months now and would like to know what it could be and then what I can do to fix it.
I have laid off training a few times in that period to rest it, But it comes back straight away.
It is on the thumb side near the elbow (around the area where you would have blood taken).
The exercise that irritates it most is pull ups, although there are a few that effect it.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks very much.
tendonitis?
Hi Elvis.
Any advice on what to do.
Cheers.
Rest and avoid anything that bothers it until it feels better. When you do reintroduce things that bothered it make sure you start slow, don't go straight back to the weight or reps you were doing.
Hi fctilidie.
Iv'e tried it a few times already, but it always seems to come back straight away.
Someone has advised me to ice it every day and to try and work through it. Eventually it will ease up and go.
Why haven't you gone to the doctor?

Another thing I forget to mention is get a big bucket of rice, and do rice digs etc. Here's a video to give you ideas.
Cheers mate.
I'll give it a go.
That's an irresponsible video, there is no warning of carb content. I would recommend you add the ingredients to the bucket for a risotto, this will be a time saving method.
I used to get forearm pain (it's started up again actually) so I bought some grips and a Powerball to strengthen my forearms. Even with this, there are some things I just cannot do, and I have had to accept this fact and find a replacement. You too may have to find an alternative method, Jesus will guide you my brother.
