I've have very stubborn fat in my legs, whilst dieting down; they are the hardest part of my body to get lean (also something to do with the fact they are the least muscular too, I bet!). Colder limbs obviously mean lessened circulation, which is obviously amplified by fasting, too.

Fasted cardio/walking increases the temp/circulation as expected, but I feel that the rest of the time there is minimal lipolysis going on.

Is it just specific to me that my legs are more stubborn, although I realise it's usually women who have troubles with leaning out their legs/lower body blood flow.

Bit of pointless thread, more of an observation/join-in and complain post really

All I know is that my girlfriend is FREEZING cold all day since she has been doing a low calorie, intermittent fasting diet. She is burning weight off very very quickly. On the carb up days (when she breaks it) she is a lot warmer.

I can mirror her experience too, myself. I am FREEZING on my rest days and prior to my fast breaking meal on workout days (all zero carb during/up until that point), I do however warm right up after a brisk walk in the fasted state, plus I get the skin cellulite 'pitting' appearance in the fat around my lower stomach (fat is 'loose' and mobilised, hopefully burning too!)

Yea obv doing it right "my diet is affecting my ciruclation".........keep it up maybe u'll lose a limb soon, that will really help the weight loss.

I've lost a stone in the past 1 1/2 months and i havn't counted any calories the only macro i've looked at is my protien intake. Eatting clean and doing high intensity training is the best way to lose body fat.

Stubborn body fat is a different kettle of fish though - the body doesn't like using it in a non-fasted state. The body seems to see stubborn fat collections as an emergency store for times without food.

The coldness sounds like possible liver and/or thyroid issues.. very likely in the low cal intermittent fasting girl. A tsh (thyroid stimulating hormone) test would give a clearer picture.

Aside from being cold in the fasted period and eating low calories, a lower set-point than usual for bodyfat also is causing me greater feeling to the cold, just thought I'd update the thread.

Hi ya buddy you got any pictures of your body out of interest cause your avatar doesn't look like you have issues with fat loss ??? and fat is stored on people differently so dont be worried about that you might just have to work harder with with lower half CV.

James has more photos, than Myprotein have advertisements!

They are in his log somewhere. There could be some via his profile, not sure though as I am using a mobile app.
