    Can anyone let me know if you have come across any good reading on the subject of human biology? I basically want stuff that affects bodybuilding in greater detail - things covering insulin, growth hormones and other growth factors. Not just restricted to that though, anything in this category, things like how aminos are properly utilised - anything really.

    I would prefer some concrete info rather than opinionated reading.

    ive got a book for uni called vanders human physiology, pretty decent, however its about £35 so dunno if its worth it for you cause. . . for me its essntial

    kilgore and ripptoes practical programming covers alot of ground... minihulk I would say get it! i cant trecommend it enough. I've read many books and studied alot of info on the net... this book is all you need.

    I saw the thread title so came here to suggest "Greys Anatomy" -Awesome piece of literature! However now I am here you appear to be looking for a tome connected with endocrinology-nutrition upon which I draw a blank.

    If you should find such a book give me a nudge so I can take a look.

    I'm reading anotomy without a scalpel, he mentions greys in there, it seemed like he's study book so I presume it was kinda technical. Anotomy without a scalpel is geared towards lifting and coaching, look it up.
