    No afraid not. I know there is PLENTY of research on pre/during exercise carbs improving endurance, that's a given. I want some information regarding lack of carbs and fasted training because I believe this could be the sort of angle that could get me very good credit if I can back it up with evidence. There are SO many gym-goers out there that train fasted and report significant increases in performance (me being one of them, minhulk another and of course James the IFing Archivore I would love there to be some scientific evidence to back it up but can't seem to find any
    PBs - Dead-lift - 190kg x 1, Squat - 142.5kg x 3, Bench Press - 125kg x 1, OHP - 72.5kg x 5, Weighted Chins - 37.5kg + BW x 4
    2012 Goals - Dead-lift - 200kg x 4, Squat - 165kg x 5, Bench Press - 125kg x 4, OHP - 80kg x 5, Weighted Chins - 50kg + BW x 4

    I now they are based on endurance athletes but one assumes the genetic transcription mechanism would be the same!

    Also, there was a recent NSCA journal article, that I got via email, talking about this (IIRC, centred more on strength training applications) but I can't seem to find it now!
