There are always studies that contradict each other, there's a load of evidence that it is good for you.I will continue to take mine as I believe they are good for you.
Eating oily fish might not be as good for our health as doctors have claimed, new research suggests.
The study discovered no ‘clear benefit’ in omega 3 fats, which are found in fish such as salmon and mackerel. Researchers studied there effect on death rates, heart disease and cancer and said there was no sign they enhanced health.
They said it is inconclusive whether omega 3s reduce or increase death rates or diseases.
However, their value should not be ruled out and evidence must be reviewed regularly, according to the study, published in the British Medical Journal.
Other studies have found the fats, also found in plant oils, have a positive effect on health.

omega 3 may not have direct effects, but it helps to get the right 3,6,9 balance which is good.

When you eat the foods your body is made for (Paleo foods) in a framework that your body is made for (feast-fast, such as IF), it all works beautifully.
haha, I knew this was gonna get onto the net when I heard it today on the TV. What a bunch of crap, there's always at least one badly designed study that gets publicised like mad when it goes against the huge volumes of evidence that says something is EXTREMELY beneficial.

Completely agree. Meta analyses have way to many possible variables that could account for the 'trends' they propose.Quote
