Thanks guys I tihnk I needed something like this to keep my motivation up. I've been training in the gym for ages so I'm quite strong and toned under all the fat but lost my way with my diet. Should be able to get it back on track now I have so many people to egg me on. And a competition to win!

    Good on you chicklet!

My biggest problem was shifting that loverly insulating layer of wibbly wobbly bits (wwb for short ). Annoying as it it, and believe me it is, the key, the absolute key to shifting the wwb from the beautiful toned muscle undernearth is diet.

Yup I eat a fair amount of eggs my Mother In Law was fascinated at LEWs yesterday she never knew you could get them!!!

My diet is based around things like chicken, eggs, fish, mostly white meat or good lean red meat with the majority of my carbs coming from fruit and veg. I'm avoiding starchy carbs like bread, pasta, and potatoes.

I only use olive oil to cook and use it liberally on my salads. I am trying to dispel the myth that my diet needs to be really low fat. So i'm going for high protien, reasonable amounts of fat and low carbs.

Just been to the gym. I'd forgotten how much HIIT hurts!!! Did 20 mins on the treadmill and I was a mess afterwards.

Oh well no pain no gain!

Just got back from Germany on a weeks adventure training in the Hartz National Park.

Day 1 = 45km mountain bike ride (painfully savage hills).
    Day 2/3 = Kayaking.
Day 4 = Hill walking (well I climed a mountain called the Brocken the top 1114 metres above sea level total distance walked 21Kms 2/3rds of it uphill.

Diet wasn't brill as all food was supplied for us but I've put on no weight, in fact my jeans feel looser.

Back in the gym today, I think it may seem boring in comparison methinks.

I'd be surprised if you didn't lose some weight doing that amount of activity, especially if you work in an office. The jeans feeling looser is probably a good indicator.
