I havent read the discussion thread but just read the rules there and think I may enter.
I have recently just purchased a concept 2 rower and one of my goals is to increase CV fitness / conditioning but I wont be restricting calories or anything so may or may not see changed in body comp. I'll email starting pics to the email and if theres significant difference at the end dates ill post up both sets of pics, just out of curiosity really!
Would this be okay? Does the starting thread have to be posted up 1st Feb or can I post it now?

Yeah that would be fine. The reason I said people had to post their own pictures up even if they emailed me was so they could back out if they didn't feel they'd made a big enough change to show people.
I doubt it would really matter if you did but I think it would be best if the threads were made on the 1st, that way it'll be less messing around for everybody should any rules change before then for example. You must be excited about the contest though if you're already to make your thread, right?

Good stuff mate. I am a non rower aswell, second time on the rower done a 10k (saturday just gone) and got 50:55, Done 5k in 22:37 today, Didnt really work much harder just working on technique.
HBK : I'll wait to the 1st, Its one less thing for me to forget about lol I wont be thinking about this contest much just thought it might be interesting to compare 3 months down the line, I may need to be reminded to take finishing pics!
