10g of flax oil is not too much per day... some might say it is too little actually if it is your only omega 3 source

If your only using it for omega 3 then your much better off buying some fish oil, its a much more efficient way of getting omega 3

Is flaxseed oil any good as an oil to use in cooking?

I was looking at this yesterday too.

I already stick spoons of milled flaxseed into salad/yogurt/cereal etc so I'm not too desparate to get the oil in.

don't think it's good for cooking as it goes rancid in heat and light. MP's coconpure is good for cooking. gives food a slight coconutty taste.

How it gets into your body makes no difference be in straight oil or capped oil, it all depends on how much you want to take in and if it fits with your lifestyle i.e carrying a couple of caps is easier than carrying the bottle around
