Congrats on starting. It's not the size of the step but the direction you take it in, don't remember where I heard that.

First, you don't need to eat 6 meals a day, but it could potentially help. Again, it's not necessary. Best bet might be to 'snack' at work, eat things like fruits, nuts, jerky or any good kinds of food you can creatively consume quickly at work.
Really though, as long as you get enough calories in during the day the long break from food shouldn't hurt you or hinder your growth from training. Especially considering you've just started, you're in the magic time where it's hard to do wrong.
If it helps, when I had trouble getting enough calories in I'd drink a litre of milk at dinner. Whole milk is about 600 calories, about 50g protein I reckon and it digest slowly, it was my best friend.

Edit: If you're more specific about your problems etc we'll be able to help you more. Post again if you need anything.

Agreed with HBK. You don't need 6 meals a day at all. It's Ok if you got the time to do it over 6 meals. Just get your calories in, big breakfast really sets you up for the day and is probably going to be your key meal if you can't eat at work.

Failing that, talk to your boss cause everybody is legally entitled to take breaks to FUEL their bodies for the days labor.

As a beginner you can do almost anything and put on muscle, as long as you lift decent weight.

Eating six times a day is absolutely not necessary. In fact its quite possibly a myth. Just eat enough calories to gain weight, thats all.

Concentrate on making food in advance and freezing it, by far the best way when you don't have time to cook. Pasta/tuna mixes with some chicken and salad is pretty fast and easy, make it the day before and slap it in the fridge over night.

Consider getting a couple of blender bottles and a tub of weight gainer or even some potein with some fruit and/or veg to chew on. They're quick to mix and just as quick to consume and if you can get 60-90 seconds free from your work you be sorted.
