He said he tryed red bull, so Im thinking, regardless of if its over training he wants to stay awake and not tired, so yea caffeine helps millions of people around the world achieve this, but it does have a downpoint and when this occurs, it really does get you down (energy ways).

Forcing yourself to be awake is not a good idea if you are trying to build muscle, your body needs the rest to repair.

    OP you need more sleep!

Take a week off from training and diet, eat what you want and get enough sleep.

If you're not refreshed by the end I might consider seeing a GP there could be a medical issue.

Just as a side a friend of mine came down with a virus there was no cold based symptoms but it completely wiped her energy out for about to 6-8 weeks. She spent the best part of the first 2-3 weeks sleeping most of time, might be something similar.

Oh and go to bed earlier....its often said 1 hour sleep before midnight is equal to 2 hours after, not sure if there is any reasoning behind this but alot of people seem to think its true.

I know if i was only getting that sleep i would feel lethargic too. I'd say more sleep, it shouldn't cause headaches and if it does then ibruprofen... Would be better for you in general than taking another supp..

    Hello AJ,

I was like you last Wednesday, had a appoitment with my new gym instructor and he advised me to take a few days off as I was feeling really lathargic and tired out last Wednesday.

Was told to go home and rest and don't come back to the gym till Monday 19th 15.30 I've had to get some multi vitamins down my neck and also Omega 3 capsules. Been feeling great before hand, seems I have been over doing things at the gym and not putting enough carbs back into my diet, I'm still confused by it all to be honest on what we should eat and not.

Hope you feel better soon m8, I'm hoping to be after Monday
