Thanks everyone! I half suspected posting this would lead to a massive arguement so I've done my best to leave out anything controversial and use this as a jumping off point for anyone new to the game. I'm very glad this has been so well received. Cheers!

Im going to have to be brutally honest duncan i disagree most beginners want everything NOW in a CLEAR and CONCISE, CONTEXT.

They want to go from this too..............................................THIS, LIKE TODAY!

    READ ON

Unless it has nice perty colours, photos and varying sized text:
    • THAT
    • USES
    • BULLET
    • POINTS

To help summerise whatever your reviewing it just wont grab any attention.

    CLOSING THOUGHTS

Getting back into the gym scene the beginning of this year was hard as i wanted my mass back and fit into my old clothes ASAP. I wasnt prepared to read anything unless it was straight to the point and telling me supplements wouldnt help id of ignored you. I wanted something that was backed up and telling me what to do step by step.

Take T-Nation for example whether their articles are correct or not they are written in such a seductive way it does make you think about trying it out. If only the NHS got t-nation or any of the supplement companies to advertise DUREX for safe sex. Probably see a massive population drop.

This is by no means an attack on anyone that liked this sticky or to the OP at all. But in my opinion it will take alot more than just a few paragraphs of text to convince the hoarde of "i need to eat 10 times a day", "finish my workout in 45 minutes", "Protein is the most anabolic substance next to juice, known to man" mentality that alot of the newbs seem to have.

Yep that's fair, certainly can't force anyone to listen. I suppose it was a bit of an 'if I'd known then what I know now' kind of thing. With any luck I might have helped a couple of people who've realised the transformation in the picture you've posted isn't realistic.
