    haha thanks ill set a good diet for my self, am i right in thinking high protein but low carbs?

    As stated, check the diet forum. I don't think you need to do a major diet. Get lifting heavy, and maybe run a slight calorie deficit, and you should see big changes.

    Low-carb is a perfectly valid way of dieting. In your situation though I would probably avoid going too low, give yourself some fuel for your workouts and promote those newbie gains. Keeping protein high will be a good start though.
