    Hi,

I'm currently taking Hurricane XS and Impact Whey Protein. Tomorrow, I'll be getting some Lean Xtreme, and some caffeine tablets. What I was wondering was if I can be on them all at the same time, or if there's any kind of problem doing this ?

    Regards,

    TimeWyrm

I don't know the answer to your question. However, what are your goals? If you are trying to lose weight then be carfeul how many carbs you are consuming in your supplements. Just out of interest why are you on the caff tablets?

I also have a question of my own. On a low carb, high protein diet. Just bought Hurrican XS and Pepto Pro supplements. These good to supplement my diet? Looked that way after reading stickies and procduct info.

Well, both of you, what are your gains and goals? It is hard to answer without knowing your routine and what you have been struggling with.

Like I say to everyone, supplements aren't the first answer to weight loss or muscle gain - your diet is much more important. The supplements are okay together IMO, but I don't think it is neccessary. Lift heavy, eat clean with lots of protein and not many grains and you have your body going in the right direction.

I have heard good things about hurricane xs, not sure about the pepto pro.

I also wouldn't bother with the caffeine tablets until you get really serious with bodybuilding and think it will help improve your workouts - it is best not to rely on them and let your body learn to give you the energy you need on it's own.

I am bulking up but also trying to reduce what body fat i have. I am naturally slim/athletic build. I have been eating well, lots of protein and low carbs. No alcohol! Training a lot and lifting heavy...increasing every week. The only prob is i do a lot of running and play football which has been making me tired due to lack of carbs, but burning my fat. Think i am slowly getting there and hoping the supplements will help my growth and recovery.

Try some coconut oil or MCT oil before a workout, it will give you energy better than carbs IMO. It is also good for weight loss and to prevent muscle wastage.

Not just before a workout by the way, can take it before each activity. Start with about a teaspoon upto 3 or 4 times a day, if you start with too much it can cause diarrhea.

Hi guys, thanks for the responses:

My goal is to lose fat and preserve what little muscle mass I currently have. I'm using the caffeine for energy and as a fat loss supplement (EC stack but without the "E"). The Lean Xtreme I'm using as an appetite suppresant.

In regards to the Hurricane XS, I was thinking of going for Creatine by itself, but then I heard about Hurricane XS and thought why not. I am thinking of replacing it with just Creatine when my current supply runs out. It has helped me lift heavier every session.

I know that not everybody may agree with this, but I've been using the Hurricane XS mixed with Ready Brek and Milk (552 calories in total) as my breakfast meal. Tin of Tuna fish (136 calories) for lunch, and around 14oz (766 calories) of chicken breast. This gives me a total of around 1450 calories a day, which is around a 1000 calorie defict a day (including hitting all my macros).

I've been on the combo for 11 days now, and lost around 5lbs (most of which is water weight), and am aiming for around 2 lbs a week. The thing is that the LX is helping suppress my appetite and keep my calorie intake around 1450 a day. I'm also burning around 500 calories from heavy lifting + heavy bag + hitting the exercise bike.

I've just remembered that I mentioned whey protein, but I haven't actually needed it.
