    hi
im 5,7 and i weigh 12stone 4 pounds,i have dropped from 14 stone to my current weight in 6 months by going to the gym regular 6 days a week for 3 months
this is what i used to do every day in the gym
i used to run for about 35 mins and used to burn 400 calories sometimes 450.
then was cross trainer 150 calories in 14 minutes
    rower 50 calories in 5minutes
bike 50 calories in 15 minutes

set of 2 sets of 10 on the dip assist with 45 kg weigh
set of 10 on the chin assist with 45 kg weight
2 sets of 25 on the seated leg press with 65 kg weights

i just dont feel like going to the gym anymore because of the 2 month gap i kept inbetween

from the past 2 months i have not gone to the gym,i am eating healthy but i was thinking of taking added protein from this website so i ordered it off this website..
when i stopped the gym i started noticing loose skin on my tummy,i had a c section with my 2 year old and the skin was overlapping the stitches area it's like a tyre at the moment lol.

    any suggestions?

Go to the gym as a first step. it will help 6days is not needed, i only train for around an hour 3 days a week. i think *most* of this forum will be about the same or close...

focus on big compound movements, check out mark rippetoes starting strength program (i figure you are female, so hear me when i say you WILL NOT get huge man muscles from lifting weights!!)

added protein(more than you need anyway) wont make you loose weight fat or anything, hit daily macros and magic WILL happen.

ok the protein i got it's Impact Whey Isolate..most of the week not in the kid's holidays i'm out and about so i thought this is a good way to catch up with daily protein intake.

is it true that the body needs some rest and going everyday does not help?
but i will stick to atleast 3 days a week because it's easy to cope.

Rest is vitally important. It's not the lifting part that makes the change it's the rest

Try and get protein (and also fat and carb) requirements from food, then if you fall short supplement with the whey to make the numbers up I'll often see myself shotting olive oil and whey if I'm in a rush and need to hit macros It's not ideal though as it'll provide no satiety

    Hi, welcome
I know what you mean about the loose skin when you have had a c-section. A little background on me so you know it can be done! I've had 8 children , the last 3 by CS. I've lost almost 7 stone in the last 5 years, most of it in the first year, size 24, down to a size 10.
That loose skin will reduce a lot as you loose bodyfat, mine isn't completely gone but not even noticeable to anyone else in my underwear. If I were you I would get your diet in check, weight train 3 times a week, focusing on the big compound lifts, and a little cardio if you choose. Just be consistent and it will work.

maybe start a journal on here, to help with motivation and get support and help when you need it. Good luck , it can be done.

ok interesting i used to think going everyday is going to help and i'm going to loose weight faster, but i noticed sitting at home where there was 2 or 3 days gap sometimes i used to loose more weight compared to when i was going to the gym everday,a friend of mine said it's all muscle that you loose.

you will not loose muscle in 3 days. (unless you are fasting even then itll take longer for catabolism to occur)

tell your friend to stop spouting utter crap.

My goal weight was 11st 3lbs when I started, I'm 5ft 8in, I started off doing a lot of cardio, but weight training is what helped the most. In the last year I've gone from a size 14 to a size 10, although my weight hasn't changed(gained muscle, lost fat)
I now bodybuild and am going to compete next summer in a tiny bikini, so that loose skin isn't a problem anymore, yours will go

I never used to eat after a workout, and sometimes my protein intake for the day used to be shyte and I think that's one of the reason as well, but I wil definatly take some protein after a workout now.

Thanks a lot for the advice,I have learnt a lot today.
