    Hey all,

    Looking for advice and support on toning and generally just having a healthy diet lifestyle.

    I'm 22, female, 5ft 5" and 9st 2. I've recently modified my diet and kicked the habit of having the odd biscuit between meals and think i've finally balanced my meals:

    Breakfast: chocolate MP Elle true diet shake with semi-skim milk, instant oats, almods and a little peanut butter followed by a banana

    Mid morning snack: 2 slices of Hovis seed sensation bread with sugar free jam

    Lunch: tuna, cottage cheese, salad (lettuce, cucumber and tomato) and fruit

    Mid afternoon snack: MP Elle virtue bar

    Dinner: (varies daily) but more often than not red meat/poultry/fish with vegetables/salad and pasta

    Due to being out of the house at work between 7am-5pm daily I go speed-walking for 1 hour after my dinner then have a shake with oats.

    Any tips/advice on improving the above would be fantastic.

    what are your goals? you mentioned getting toned - have you got a specific target e.g. lose 6kg ?
    do you get any other exercise aside from the speed walking? weight training wont make u muscle bound! :-)

    some of the experts on here in terms of nutrition will be able to better critique im sure but on the face of it:

    - not a lot of fats in there aside from the dairy and the almonds/peanut butter?
    - id probably leave out the hovis bread and get some freshly made bread from the local baker/sainsburys counter!
    - im lazy so id put the banan into the morning shake instead of having it directly afterwards!

    how long have u been on this diet? are u getting results?

    nothing wrong with the odd biscuit! personally i cant resist the odd ice cream!
    veggie might!
