Hello, I been off my cardio for like a week and been screwing I'm my diet, You could say i had a depressing stage and just lost motivation, Im back on working out, I follow the lean diet on my protein, and the lean training, Have been doing it for like 2 months now, My abs were appearing but now I'm pretty sure there disappeared, I do struggle with ab workouts highly, But i do them nethertheless,

I workout every other day, So workout rest, Workout Rest, Etc,

I normally do 20 minutes stationary bike after my workout, But i feel its not enough,

Should i do 15 minutes on my punchbag a day, And my bike 15 minutes 3 times a day?

I need to get my body fat% down, Im on a low fat intake diet, But as i say its been up and down this week,

    Im 6 foot 2 i weight 12 stone.

    Any recommendations for cardio?

    Thanks.

I think you should ditch cardio all together and start a lifting program See spiderdan's beginners guide - its awesome!

Depends on your definition of cardio. I actually find if you are doing boxing for fitness its easier with a partner.

Get some pads and gloves, and think of some nice fun combos. E.g.

Get a 1minute timer on your phone. Have one person call out a number, you must do that number of punches followed by the same number of pressups

variations are star jumps, burpees, situps .. instead of straight punches you could do hooks, uppercuts.

I used to do a circuit including bagwork again with a phone timer, if you want to go real old school use skipping for a bit of recovery e.g. 3 minute round on bag, 3 minutes skipping, rinse repeat

Well, My friends are very dull and boring, And not really into fitness, But i could get something online that calls out random number from 1-10, And i mean like jogging and biking cardio, Ofc i love using my boxing bag, But to me its more toning then cardio, But with the combination you're saying seems effective.

That is rubbish. You don't need cardio to stay lean. A decent weights routine will do it and at 6 ft 2 and 12 stone you need it. You are underweight. You should ideally be around the 13 stone mark.

Ohh and fat content in food doesnt make you fat! More calories in than out makes you fat! Work out your macros, something like 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight is a good place to start. Diet is key if you want to get lean.

The reason people can't see there abs always comes down to bodyfat, but building your abs up will help. It's also the surrounding muscles like your obliques, lower back hip flexors etc. By doing weights you will reduce the amount of muscle you lose whilst decreasing your weight. Have you only just started training? Done much weights before?
