A Javelin Throwers Return

I am a javelin thrower who after 9 years away from the sport decided it was time to come back.

After 3 months of in-season training last year I took my distance up to 62.60m. To me that was evidence enough that I had done the right thing, and gave me the incentive to dig deep and put in a winter training season of my life.

Javelin is a lot more complicated than most people think. I have the capability to throw over 70m, and maybe even over 80m, but finding the right training methods is part of the foundation to the difference between a good thrower and a great thrower.
