well as I was doing them I felt it straining no more than any other muscle during an exercise, and now it's more of a dull ache rather than shooting pains so i'm hoping I'm ok! They weren't very heavy weights so I should be fine!
Yeah sounds like 'good' soreness. Deadlifts are great and one of my favourite exercises - is so satisfying when you nail a heavy set and know it was a really fluid one with bang-on form...
this may be a stupid question but when doing sets of deadlifts, do you let the bar settle on the floor before starting your next rep yeah? or should it be more continuous? I hope you get what I mean!
Let it settle, dont bounce it up.
