    I agree with rab. I personally prefer upper/lower and full body splits. If you want to train 3 times a week you could consider a full body spit, say mon-wed-fri, hitting each muscle 3 times a week.

    alrite mate.

    i was suggesting the OP use his old 4 day split and train 3 days a week, meaning it would take him 8-10 days to do the 4 day split. im not a fan of the upper lower idea although i cant comment on how good they are since ive never used one.

    O right, i see, read it wrong, sorry. However I would reccommend an upper/lower split, it's the programme im currently on and i've seen great results however as geezersi wants to only train 3 days a week this is not possible. So i reccommend to him the 3 day full body split, something i have also used.

    a five day split is possible, so is a four day split. it just means that it will take more than a week to complete. i train 3 days a week and use a 4 day split

    doing HIIT 3 times a week as a form of cardio gareth83, and doing cardio AM is not always the easiest time to do it for me.

    are you trying to lose weight? bulk up? etc.

    more than anything just to lean out, am now thinking maybe doing an upper/lower/upper split until my leg injury is properly healed
