I'm just starting up a 4 day Upper/Lower Split, and I wanted to get some advice on it to make sure it's well balanced and maximising the potential of a 4 day workout. Any advice is welcome!

    Cheers

    Monday - Upper A

    Flat Bench Press
    Triceps Extension
    Shoulder Press
    Bent Over Row
    Wide Grip Chins

    Tuesday - Lower A

    Squats
    Leg Curl
    Calf Raise
Shrugs (maybe not a lower exercise but it balanced the number of exercises)

    Thursday - Upper B

    Dumbbell Flies
    Triceps Pushdown
    Behind Neck Press
    Biceps Curl
    Reverse Curl

    Saturday - Lower B

    Leg Press
    Deadlift
    Calf Raise

Looks OK but why not just use the myprotein one found here:

    http://www.myprotein.co.uk/your-goal...ticle=training

It's probably more balanced than the routine you've posted. I've been using it for around 6 months and I love it.

    Or use MXD's
Use referral code *** MP25036 *** to receive 5% off your first order!

The only reason I tried to develop my own was to keep things that I enjoy, like triceps pushdown and reverse curls.

MXDs has loads of exercises I don't know so I think I'll start with the MP routine.

    Cheers!
