    Hi,

I've been on here for a while now and haven't posted anything on my routine etc yet so i thought it was time to now. I'm basically looking for the usual thing of lose fat and tone up. I have been using the beginners training routine example on the myprotein shopsite. I thought i'd share what i do and if theres anything people would like to add to this then please feel free. I have lost nearly a stone since i started this, which appears to have been fat not muscle. I still have far too much bodyfat though. Here is a breakdown of what I have been doing so far

Workout 1 (Monday) - Upper body

Flat Dumbbell (DB) Bench press 3x6(this means 3 sets of 6 reps) 24kg each db
    Barbell Row 3x6 40kg
Incline Barbell (BB) bench press 2x10 70kg
    Lat Pull down 2x10 60kg
Seated DB shoulder press 2x10 16kg
    Barbell curl 2x10 16kg
Workout 2 (Tuesday) - Lower body

    Squat 3x6 60kg
    Goodmorning 3x6 30kg
    Leg extension 2x10 60kg
    Seated calf raise 3x6 30kg
Workout 3 (Thursday) - Upper body

Incline DB press 3x6 24kg each db
    Pullup 3x6
    Flat BB bench 2x10 70kg
    Cable row 2x10 60kg
    Seated shoulder press 2x10 16kg
    Barbell curl 2x10 30kg
Close grip bench press 2x10 40kg still find these unnerving lol im still wobbly on these.
Workout 4 (Saturday) - Lower body

Deadlift 3x6 60kg still scared of doing my back in on these even though i watch my form in the mirror.
    Leg press 3x6 120kg
    Leg curl 2x10 60kg
    Standing calf raise 3x10 50kg

I use MP Max whey protein, Omega 3,6,9, Sesamin, Sida Codifolia, BCAA, CEE, Taurine, Fine scottish oats, Multivit, Milk thistle extract, Glucomasine Sulphate, White tea extract.

Cardio is basically 10 mins on a bike before my routine and on my off days i'll ride trails on my mountain bike for several kilometres.

My diet is far from amazing though i drink beer at weekends although not like i used to and i am still a cheese fetishist. I will be posting some pix up soon showing my flab etc so i can keep tabs on my progress. Although i am quite embarassed about doing this but i think it will push me further. If anyone has any comments or improvements I'd like to hear them.

    Thanks

I forgot to mention that I also do pressups everyday as well as 30 minutes walking to work, my job is office based and i have to sit down as I'm glued to my pc. My metabolism used to be super fast when i was young but now it's a totally different story.
