Some more....
Hi Guys,
Just thought I would update everyone as to what has been going on since that infamous night on the 19th Oct 2008.
It was an amazing day and one that I will never forget. It was the culmination of months of hard work and diligent dieting and it paid off big time.
I worked with IFBB Pro Neil Hill, who also helps and advices my friend James 'Flex' Lewis as well as numerous other top national BBers.
He has become a very close friend now and will be in my corner, so to speak, for the rest of my competitive days.
It has been a hectic few weeks since the show having done the Hercules Guest spot and the Stars of Tomorrow guest spot on the sunday just gone (9th Nov).
I am now OFFICIALLY off my diet......YEEEEEEEESSSSSSS!!!!!!
Saying that I still did my cardio today and I am still weighing my food etc but I guess thats why I got where I have done.....No rest for the BBing wicked!!
I have had a few photo shoots over the last few weeks with a natural competitor called Fivos, who is a good friend of mine and a great amateur photographer.
These photos can be seen below.
My plans are now to rest a little (although I did train legs today for the first time in 5 weeks and I'm sore already, 5 hours later!!) and then compete in the new IFBB 202 class in 2010.
Neil and I are looking at competing at one of the first shows and are hoping that the Ironman will have a 202 class by then.
The next 14 months will be spent making improvements to my physique and bringing a package around 7-10lbs heavier but keeping my aesthetics and small waist and hips. I set a bench mark for conditioning this year so I can only try to get harder for my next show.
I am hoping that I will be with MP right the way through next year and into my first year on stage with the IFBB in America and although I am long overdue a rest, I know in 6 months time I'll be itching to compete again!!
My time has also been spent filming my DVD which now has the 'perfect' ending with my win at the British. The guy and his company I have employed to do the job, have a great vision of what the DVD will be like and I can assure you it will be nothing less than a roller coaster ride through the last 8 weeks of competition dieting.
The release date is going to be at the start of December and will be available to purchase on my website at welcome to jamesllewellin.com and hopefully on the MP site in time too.
Filming finished last week with a long interview about my life up to now; I really cant wait to see the first cut next week.
The price will be around £19.95, so ideal as an xmas present!
Anyway here are some pictures from the show, guest spot and shoots.
ENJOY and thankyou all for your continued support!
James
