This will work to your advantage since it seems you have been overtraining with 5 workouts lasting 1.5hrs each.
Hey all,
I have a question to ask:
I normally train 5 times a week for about an 1.5 hrs (max) a session. I have recently started work and can't really keep up the 5 sessions. Wouyld I get the same results (or less/more) if I were to train twice a week for 3 hours. Trying to go just as heavy and thorough as my usual sessions. Obviosly lucozade will be involved aswell as possibly a shake during.
I know the question might be a little vague. If you need any more info please ask.
Session 1: Chest, Shoulders, Arms
Session 2: Back and Legs (worried about this)
This will work to your advantage since it seems you have been overtraining with 5 workouts lasting 1.5hrs each.
I think you would be better going full body routine if you can only manage twice a week. Big Compounds. 1-1.5 hour sessions. 3 hours is waaaaaay too much. and so is 5 x 1.5 hours a week,

Just follow the stronglifts program - IIRC it's a two day split and far better than that you have proposed![]()
