    Right heres my problem.

Been doing alot of dip work on my chest latly and about 5 weeks ago I changed it around. I strated off with some medium stress benching as Id never really done it and last week after progressing to a decent weight I noticed that my right pec was struggling.

This week I had the same problem. I moved onto incline press afterwards and on each set the right pec would give with the left still feeling fine.

Im thinking maybe my dip technique slightly favours my left pectorial?

But anyway this isant about dip technique im just wondering the best way to fix this as quickly as possible.

Im guessing just go back to the dumbell push's and eventually it will even its self naturally? My right pecs alwas been slightly smaller so hopefully something good will come of this and they will even out.

Anyway I seem to have written alot over a small problem but If anyones had a similar problem any advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

I would continue to do incline benching with a barbell, but im sure it would even itself out doing DB presses. Just focus on on a deep press and good form.

You will naturally have a stronger dominant side of the body

barbell exercises are probably better than DB ones. Although it is possible for your left pec to compensate for the right, if your benching technique is correct then strength differences will become less apparent. also, it is easier to add weight using a barbell as you can increase 2.5kg at a time rather than bigger jumps with DB. As ace curl said, one side is always stronger but the difference can be reduced through using correct technique. I had a similar problem as you but using the bench technique that mark rippetoe describes i've been able to equalize the strength, more or less. Have a look for his videos on youtube.
