If you are bulking you will always put on a little bit of flab.
But as long as you keep it clean, you will put on a very small amount, if you eat without thinking about what you eat, the chances are you will gain fat.

Always listen to experts. They'll tell you what can't be done and why. Then go do it.

If your serious about youor goals in gaining mass, then you will need to log your food entries, somewhere like www.foodfocus.co.uk
Aim for 3000calories per day and check the scales every couple of weeks, aim for a 1lb per 2 weeks as begginers add mass quite quickly at the start (newbie gains) once you find your maintainence level add or subtract calories until your gaining small amounts. Avoid cardio for the first few weeks and find your feet with your calorific requirments.
Aim for 1-1/2g of protein per lb of bodyweight. this will ensure muscles are recieving a large amounts of munchies
Make sure you avoid bisciuts, white bread, any white flour based products as these will raise silly amounts of insulin that will not help in gaining good mass.
Work hard in the gym, make sure you carry out all the major compound lifts deadlift, squat, bench, OH press. This will produce bags of GH which with a good diet will see you grow like a weed

I'll say one thing, eat eat and eat till you feel sick!
I used maltodextrin alot and worked very well, dedication is the only way. I'll post my old diet plans up later, I seem(ed) to only gain from the "less is more" way of thinking. Ultra heavy with compound moves![]()
thanks paul, greg and pie man, good info that i can actually understand and use
greg, when you said about the 4 eggs in the morning, how would you cook these??? does differnt cooking methods effect the calorie properties of the eggs?? or make them better or something? Thanks
