    OK guys, been meaning to post on here for a bit was going to upload photos as Ive been training for 3-4 years really, but have really plateaued. I have changed my routine now as I basically stuck to the same exercises and just moved up in weight and reps (i know, i know shock your body). I was happy with my size but really want a 6 pack. So I've upped my ab workouts and started doing sprints.

    However, tonight i found out my bodyfat was 4.8%. Im a really lean guy, but its pissed me off that I dont have rock hard abs (as opposed to my mate & gym trainer whos around 9/10% but has A SOLID 8 pack.

    Everyone tells me to eat more but i eat quite alot as it is. Im just going to up my meals in the next for weeks before i go away because i go away in 3 weeks and not only do i want some abs, i also want more size !!

    The other thing was.................. ive only really posted on here in that last year or so with regards to my insomnia (tried MYP stuff and it made it worse). I happen to believe its mostly related to my late nights and alot of booze on saturdays, and it messes up my sleep up where i cant sleep at all till about thursday..... BUT i was just wondering, could it be anything to do with my lack of fat? and has anyone heard of any booze - protein negative relationship? or anybody being allergic to alcohol? Im taking all forms by the way, happens with beer, spirits, wine..

    You are simply not 4.8% bodyfat then...

    it was on this machine thing where you step on with no socks, and put your height in.... ive just taken 2 photos but have no idea how to upload?

    in the first photo i look dead skinny but you can see a bit of abs but i have just done an ab workout.. I tend to get two decent abs on my left side when I tense. I always remember someone saying on here if you have abs when you tense you need to reduce your bodyfat... lol well obviously not in my case ?

    Im learning how to upload pics... my other mate who works in the gym is saying never do the reading after a session as it will be inaccurate due to hydration levels? Im probably not that low then, I'll re do it tomorrow.

    70kg, around 6 foot or just under

    i know i need to eat more / more protein, but sleep is really important and i have issues as it is, let alone having **** loads of food / food in the evenings / pre bed

    ok you're lean, but you are NOT 4.8% BF. I don't rate those machines anyway, everytime I get on one they give a different reading. The most accurate, practical, cheap method is callipers and you need to know how to use them properly. I would say you're about 8% minimum...
    PBs - Dead-lift - 190kg x 1, Squat - 142.5kg x 3, Bench Press - 125kg x 1, OHP - 72.5kg x 5, Weighted Chins - 37.5kg + BW x 4
    2012 Goals - Dead-lift - 200kg x 4, Squat - 165kg x 5, Bench Press - 125kg x 4, OHP - 80kg x 5, Weighted Chins - 50kg + BW x 4

    yeah il try again tomorrow, i can still pinch quite a bit from my stomach... so should be eating more and still sticking with a bit of interval training and stepping up my ab sessions?

    I honestly don't have a clue what you're on about, are you saying that you need to reduce your BF if you can see your abs when tensed!?
