so in in week 11 of stronglifts and was really getting into it as all my lifts are going up, but was playing a soccer game the weekend and messed up my calf and could be out soccer action for up to six weeks, so i was thinking about do a upper body rotine like a push, pull sort of thing as i cant do any deadlifts or squats over my calf just till i get my leg sorted out

    example
    mon: pulling back/biceps
    tues: rest
    wed: pushing chest/shoulders/triceps
    thur:rest
    fri: pulling back/biceps
    sat: rest
    sun:rest
    monushing chest/shoulders/triceps
    and so on

so what do you guys think ?

Sounds good. You might want to consider training the leg that isn't injured or if not see how you get on with leg extensions and curls. If you play football/soccer you want to avoid training your upper body for 6 weeks with no leg training I would say

What do you mean by 'messed up' - have you seen a professional about it?

Until you have, I'd advise you dont do anything. If you have seen one already did they say anything about continuing training?

Training with any sort of injury isnt a good idea. Even if it is your calf, doing just upper body stuff could cause imbalance elsewhere
"Squatting on a Bosu ball makes it so much more challenging!" So does getting tapped in the balls while squatting, want me to do that too?
