Well SL5x5 is already evenly spread out over 3 days...
OK. guys? Everyone alive and well? Gooooood.
What I'd like to know is...what would be, in your opinion, an ultimate 5x5 workout evenly spread over 3 days?
Thanx

I know that.
But! After reading forums etc. I've found different results: Some people deadlifting every time, some people don't. Some people benching every time, some people don't. Some argue that you sholdn't include all major lifts in one day etc...etc.
that's why I'm asking

Stick to the programme, recovery is bound to suffer after a while. If I was deadlifting 140kg+ and squatting 120kg+ 3 days a week Id be knackered.
If I was at the gym, I would utilise this every now and then. Strictly for mass gains.
Monday: Squats and Military press 5x5's
Tuesday: Squats and Deadlift 5x5's
Wednesday: REST
Thursday: Squats and Bench Press 5x5's
Friday: Squats and Weighted Pull ups 5x5
Saturday and Sunday: REST
I think it all about progression and where you are in relation to the weight you are lifting. SL5x5 is great to start off on and the exercises and rep/set range are such that you are able to progress at a pace up to a point where something has to give. So to answer your question I think with strength training it is really where you are along a road to what works best. SL 5x5, 3x5, 1x5 then on to something like 531 where you do one big lift a day but make slower gains.
See? MiniHulk is squatinig every time and benching only once. Some guys say that 3 major lifts ( Squat, Bench, Deadlift ) should be spread over 3 days.
This is the simplest workout ever and people made it so bloody confusing.

If anyone thinks that my above routine wouldn't work and would cause overtraining then consider this analogy I found:
If you got a job as a garbage man and had to pick up heavy cans all day long, the first day would probably be very difficult, possibly almost impossible for some to complete. So what do you do, take three days off and possibly lose your job?
No, you'd take your sore, beaten self to work the next day. You'd mope around and be fatigued, much less energetic than the previous day, but you'd make yourself get through it. Then you'd get home, soak in the tub, take aspirin, etc. The next day would be even worse.
But eventually you'd be running down the street tossing cans around and joking with your coworkers. How did this happen? You forced your body to adapt to the job at hand! If you can't' squat and lift heavy every day you're not overtrained, you're undertrained! Could a random person off the street come to the gym with you and do your exact workout? Probably not, because they're undertrained. Same goes with most lifters when compared to elite athletes.
I also like this saying:
If your family was captured and you were told you needed to put 100 pounds onto your max squat within two months or your family would be executed, would you squat once per week? Something tells me that you'd start squatting every day. Other countries have this mindset.

Yes I've started with 5x5 last week. I' m often turning my workouts around and now I'm thinking to stay with this one.
