That all depends on how your training is set up; how does it look now?
Wanted some advice about training legs for more size and power. I know squats and deadlifts are key, I am more unsure about how often I should train them, for example would it be worth trying to train them twice a week instead of just once.
I feel I have made good size gains overall in the 4 years I've been training but still think my legs are lagging behing a bit. Any advice would be appreciated, especially for getting bigger calves.

well I'm just starting back after 6-7 weeks off because of a work placement i was doing. Before stopping I was doing a strength program that consisted of 5 sets of SL deadlifts, Squats, Power shrugs and clean and jerks.
Sorry, what do you do on a daily basis?

I work abroad
How does your week of training look then? Which days do you train? What exercises are done on said days? And so on...

Well like i said i am just coming back from 6 weeks off.
Normally I would do something along the lines of:
Monday- legs- squats, leg presses, leg extensions, leg curls, calf raises
Tuesday- Chest and Tris
Wednesday- off
Thursday- Back and Bis (deadlift on this day)
Friday- Shoulders
Weekend- rest/play football
Something like that
Your legs are already being heavily stimulated twice a week, so I'd keep it as it already is. I would however recommend trying stiff leg deadlifts, instead of leg curls. I get a much better reaction from SLDL, than I do leg curls, as do many people; give them a shot!

OK thanks, how about any tips for calve training? Do you think it's best to train them with higher reps or heavier weights, less reps?
Calves are more about ROM than massive weight.
