I used to get something like this. Stretching was the solution, for me. No harm in getting a nice looking masseuse to soothe the area![]()
Hi I'm knew to all this...
I was just wandering if I could get some advice on my hip situation
When I'm in the gym doing for example squats, exercises that involve my core as a fixator or stabiliser, I start to get a stiffness and pain from my left and right hip.
I get the same pain/stiffness after going for a jog or playing football.
I was wandering how to get rid of this pain maybe through stretching, massage, weights or physio
Any thoughts will be great thanks guys

I would consider a dynamic warm up before you squat. If you swing a single leg from the hips gradually increasing the height of the movement without over stretching. if this causes you any bother i'd probably consider seeing a sports massage therapist or have some deep tissue massage.
