Hey, I am currently following Kris Gethins transform your body routine and currently in week 3, I don't have a diet as such yet, as I don't know whether to bulk or cut. I have quite a muscly back, chest and legs, but my gut stays, any ideas? My stats are:

    Age: 17
    Gender: Male
    Height: 5ft 11
    Weight: 166ib
    BMI: 23.2
    BMR: 1785 calories.
    Body Fat: 13%

Could someone give me a few pointers on what to do please?

Bulk, Definitely. Also im not too sure if i like that program. It doesn't contain any big compound moves which are the main muscle and strength builders ie Barbell back squat, Deadlifts, Barbell bench, Standing overhead barbell press. Have you had a look at starting strength or stronglifts?

I already did Stronglifts for about 2-3 month, and my lifts aren't too bad. Also, I think it includes compound moves in phase 2 and 3, as far as i can remember

    Agreed, Bulk.
"When I see a program that says three sets of eight reps? That's the stupidest f**king thing ever. If it doesn't have a specific percentage based on a specific max, it's useless. That's the hallmark of someone who doesn't understand basic programming." - Jim Wendler

Thanks people, does anyone know of a cheap bulking diet? Just money for meats and shakes and stuff is a massive issue :3

Look at the cheaper cuts of meat, they are usually fatty so cheaper but good for bulking! Most will need long slow cooking - but taste great. Find a good local butcher and chat to them. My butcher sells a whole rabbit, ready to cook, for £2 - it's a lot of meat 1 person

I'm going to go against the grain here... if you can set up a month or so diet to hit 10% or sub 10% bodyfat, you'll be set with a more efficient base to bulk leanly from. Either way, it's a tight call though...
