I use them when I have to just for some quick carbs to go with whatever animal I'm eating at the time

It's not going to kill you is it, don't overthink it. Just use whatever fits in best with your lifestyle, try and keep your diet as clean as you can but if you've got a demanding schedule then your going to end up failing if you stress about every little detail...and you dont want that

yeah you just got to go with the flow and be happy, thats what its all about! the only thing to be careful of with those instant rice thingys is the sodium content. but if your a reasonably healthy person then your body will automaticly clear any unneeded sodium out of the body through urine. i made the mistake of stressing to much that i actully ended up very unhappy and belive it or not couldnt build muscle because my diet was too strict. i make sure every now and then i take myself out to an all you can eat buffet and not leave that place till im fit to burst. train when you can and enjoy life! take it easy! it aint that serious!

well said.....2 much stressing over your diet can lead you to give up all together or be stressed out (stress is bad BTW) :P
also restricting your diet is bad for obvious reasons
If your worried about things like sodium or whatever then go for the chinese'y style ones, they tend to have lower levels of additives....or buy the ones wid the seperate satchets of flavouring and just dont add it, simples
