    Hi

As many will know I've been doing weights and CV as part of my diet/exercise regime. For now my bike is off-the-road, so I'm looking for something legwise that I do with weights in lieu of cycling. I know it's not CV, but I want to do something rather than nothing, and I'm not a fan of running.

I was thinking lunges, deadlifts, squats and curls doing fairly high reps rather than hugely heavy weights. Is there anything else I should be adding?

    Thanks

doing deadlifts, lunges, squats etc. is completely different to cycling as you know and it may interefere with your weights if you were to do more of these exercises.
i would suggest doing another form of cardio in its place, you say you dont like running. howabout machines at your gym? (rowing, x trainer? stairs are very good for the pins) or swimming perhaps?

    Hi Karlos

I train at home so am limited to what I have available. I'm not thinking long term, only while my bike is out of action.

    Cheers

    Try clean cardio.

Load a barbell with a weight u can clean 15 times. Do a set, rest 30secs and repeat. You will not be able to get as many reps in on the rest of the sets. Try to do about 10sets with 30secs rest between
