    Yo,

Long time, no post. Although I check the forums pretty much daily

Quick question, everytime I do a leg session I get doms for between 4-6 days which is very annoying.

Does anyone have a way of making this pass quicker ? The only thing I can find that helps is a good sauna.

as for the doms, have you tried strecthing before and after?

wot is your pwo drink or food like? just my opinion is that the muscle needs "refuelling" straightafterwards so a simple carb source may be an option?!

Either wpc and water or wpc, gound oats and water.

Its just a bitch having bad leg doms in London for more than a day or two as there are always so many stairs everywhere.

I have a week off every 8-10 weeks, and then the first week back I find i've lost power slightly and I'm not metally enjoying the whole experience of squatting. This is followed by about 4 days of walking like a b*mmed penguin.

The second week onwards i'm focused, hardly any DOMS, but i do train my legs 2X per week. I think if you did this your doms will reduce. You can take all the protein, carbs, glutamin, uncooked broccoli in the world with only i slight improvement. Increase the frequency.

what is this 'the doms' you speak of? isn't it just muscle fatigue? which in my view is good. means you worked your legs hard and now they are recovering. you should think yourself lucky.

Personally I think you should get off your lardy **** and come running with me on the occasional lunchtime. (wicked smilie!)
Mixing it up a bit should help with recovery as well as upping the reps for a bit.
As above the doms show you are working the muscles hard.

How many times are you squatting and what weight?

oh and out next Tuesday night for a few if you're around. mail me.
