  1. Default Different Types of training / when to use supplement

    Hello

    I bought some Hurricane forumla and was advised to take it once in the afternoon on non training days and once i the morning and just after training on training days.

    I do two maintypes of training: Muay Thai and Weights/Gym work. I train 3 times a week with my boxing club and do weights 3 times a week.

    I currently just have 2 shakes on a gym day and just one in the afternoon on a boxing day.

    I would be interested if anyone else has any other ideas. I wasn't sure if the boxing was the ideal type of training for using a supplement with.

    well hopefully the shake will aid you with your recovery from sessions. with regards to other supps have u thougt about having some protein shakes or does your diet give u sufficent amounts of protein a day? Also you might want to consider glucosamine for your joints as you are doing alot of contact

    Cheers for the advice.

    I hadn't thought about any additional protein shakes. My diet is very sensible and relatively low fat, but I don't go out of my way to eat loads of protein rich food.

    This is the first time i have ever used a supp. so I am a real novice. What sort of protein would go best with the Hurricane Formula I am currently taking?

    Intresting point on the glucosamine. Having read the low-down on it know I would benefit from in my daily intake especially after heavy sparring / fights.

    id say the alround best protein is WPC80, if u buy in bulk

    take 3 shakes a day of 30g in water, and take them inbetween your meals or with any meals that lack protein (lead meat, fish etc)
