this topic has gone so sideways lol

    ill say it again

this experiment, and its in a journal hidden away, ive just lost it, was made to show which exercise was better in the fact that it recruited more MU. simple as

meat do u not agree it is better on untrained people as they are not use to any of the movements, i.e. it would be biased to do it on trained people who do some of the exercises anyway and would be used ot them?

Nope it was solely because of the change in the workouts, I eat the same and have since I learnt how to grow.

And I also perform a wide variety of rep ranges to failure and always have, 3-5, 6-11, 12-15, 16-30.

Thats a good point Tom, but I believe it would be better to do it on a trained person who does or has done all the lifts. I do think its a very good helpfull study, when I 1st saw it I changed up my workouts a lot.

    .
If I were to do high rep free squats my back gives out first, my form breaks down and the set is over. By using the smith machine, my quads are the limiting factor, get more stimulation and is ten times harder
