hey all i just wanted to know what routines everyone has made the most progress on. I'm 4 training days into hst doin my first 2 weeks of 15 reps and not that impressed, so little volume you just want to lift more!
Id also like to know why its better to train an upper/ lower spilt over a single body part once a week?

not obviosly, as ive set my 15 reps only 12.5 kg away from maximum and im that close (within 1-2 reps) of failure to 15 each time.

bear in mind more volume doesn't mean bigger gains in terms of hypertrophy

So you're doing enough to stimulate growth.

Weird and wonderful things happen by varying the rep range

Which routine did you decide to follow? This is only the first week, the weights should be light as they're easing you back in as you should have just had a 2 week SD. The 2nd week of 15's is very tough.

Drop the deadlifts, don't do them for the 15's. I wouldn't do them for the 10's either.

How many workouts have you done? 2, 3, 4?
