Just wondering if the flat bench press works your whole chest or just the middle, becasue im making a new routine and want to know whether i need to add incline and decline to my workout as well as the flat bench press so i end up with a well rounded chest?

Decline and Flat both hit the pectoralis major. Decline bench press will actually hit the chest a little harder. Pick one or the other, not both.

Inclines hit the upper chest and yes you should definately do these in addition to either flat or decline.

you can't round your chest, it will grow as it will.

    Stick to declines or dips

    and inclines

Thats all you need for a decent chest

imo, its better to offer an array of exercises that are good, rather than pin ones individual needs down to two exercises! i think this has been over before.

imo, choose three of the below as to what suits you and you wont go far wrong

    flat press
    incline press
    decline press
    dips
    flys
