Basically I'm being lazy here - all last years uni team has to retrial, so need to get fitness up to give me a head start.

    Atm I do HIIT @ 8kmph/17.5kmph 1min:1min for 10 mins with a 5 min 8kmph jog after.

Is HIIT alone going to help me with my CV, or am I going to have to approach it with a more traditional style? Don't want to be losing mass either!!!

My legs have got bigger from all my ATG squatting, I'm now looking at a +10kg increase in a 5 rep max pb, my vastus medialis are certainly bigger - I'm eager to see how it's helped my sprinting!

Well I was out last season from november cos of my torn shoulder ligament. When I returned there was 4 games left, I played the last 10 mins of one and 80 mins of the other.
So I'm a bit behind in the pecking order because of it, need to stand out!
