    Back squats win hands down. More weight, more results. Fronts have their place but sadly behind back squats.

    The best DL to do is a DL. All the others are just variations and technically not as good overall, as BBB said.

    You cant beat the back squat and conventional deadlift.

    For power development and overall lower body mass, back squats are probably better, but ATG front squats are definately superior for developing the quads.

    I agree with a mixture of both. My quads workout is extensions, back squats and then finish with ATG front squats. Absolute killer of a workout - don't attempt stairs afterwards!!!!
