Hi, firstly I'm not sure if this is against the rules. If it is, I apologize.
I was unfortunate enough to break my leg back in January and have been off crutches for 14 days today. I had screws, plates and a nail in to hold it all together but have been having rehab therapy since march. I have been suffering from incredibly sore ankles as well as a total loss in strength in my (formerly) broken leg.
Has anyone had a similar experience? If so, what advice would you have to get my muscles and joints back to a useable strength? I've been doing calf presses, single leg, against my own body weight as well as standard machine exercises for my legs. Adductors, Abductors, quad raises, hamstring curls (?) and leg presses. Usually my leg work would be squats, dead lifts and 45 degree leg press but special times call for special measures.
I have also been supplementing with CEE, beta alanine and cissus quadrangularis. On top of standard vitamins, calcium and glucosamine pills for joints and bones.
