    Hey m8

if starting out hiit i would start doing it 2/3 times a week, decrease the sprint times and increase rest times if you cant handle it to start with

as you progress start increasing sprints and decreasing rest

alot of people dont like Hiit AM, ive done it a couple times and enjoyed it, much better than SS am cardio

ive stopped the hiit atm, but planning on starting to do it again

    along with jump rope hiit

then mix and match..do 20 mins HIIT and maybe 15-20mins steady state....youll get the best of both worlds.

    Day 3 : HIIT + Steady State
    Day 5 : Steady State
    Day 7 : HIIT

etc etc.....Im doing something similar right now and its working really well.

alot of debate on this.....what to take, when to do it, before brekky etc.

In the grand scheme of things, even if you do it on empty stomach, you will gain the mass back once you are in a caloric + state and about 20x faster!

However, if you really want to hold onto your muscle as much as possible, throw down no more than 20g protein, and maybe a few of the other non-carb goodies and see how you go.....(right now I am taking MCT's 15g before cardio and Im sweating like a nats ass on a chocalate teapot in a Phillips Microwave on Full Power)
