  • NEW! CLA Powder

As part of our continued product development programme, we are pleased to announce the launch of CLA Powder in both 250g and 500g pouches.

CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid) is a naturally occurring free fatty acid that studies show can reduce body fat by:

    - Interfering with a substance in your body called lipoprotein lipase that helps store fat in your body.
    - Helping your body use its existing fat for energy.
    - Increasing lean muscle tissue, which in turn means your body can burn more fat.

Backed by science, perhaps the most well-known study on CLA was conducted at Uppsala University in Sweden where it was discovered that supplementing 4.2 grams of CLA per day in 53 normal healthy individuals led to a significant decrease (3.8%) in body fat and an increase in muscle mass, compared with individuals not taking CLA. Therefore it’s believed CLA is best for those wanting to favorably change their body composition (i.e. maintain muscle and reduce body fat) rather than solely losing weight.

    New Product: CLA Powder

Hate to be a killjoy MP, but this is one of the few supplements i dont think should be in bulk powder form.

Large daily doses (15-25g, easily obtainable with a tablespoon or so of powder) have been linked to liver and pancreatic inflammation, and insulin resistance.

Unless a strong and clear disclaimer is put on the product, i think this substance in powder form could be potentially dangerous.
