I find that glutamine (5g twice daily) is pretty good at alleviating mild or moderate DOMS.

    Try stretching post workout too.

I think a chiropractor would suit me best for back problems.

GSE + vit C pwo works for me, i never get DOMs...

Although these quad DOMs are killing me. 1st squat workout after 2 weeks holiday and I can't walk down stairs without crying a little bit.

Try a little active recovery - low impact movement like a good walk or a short very easy session on the eliptic/cross trainer.

It's no coincidence that a lot of top level sportsmen play golf you know....

Nutrition wise, concentrate on you peri training nutrition. As above some seem to find a difference with AO's and some aminos but peri training nutrition is a much bigger factor.

Sometimes magnesium aspartate can help but seek one to one guidance before taking this. Also epsom salt baths are useful to but avoid them in cases of extreme inflammation.

An article I wrote for Muscle Talk may help....

Oh there would appear to be some kind of competition moderation - odd seeing as you can post this site at MT?

I'd copy and paste but I don't like multiple sites with the same info on.

Go to my 'in the media' page, it's down the bottom.
