    Just to note:

Lidl have started selling packs of 6 cooked and frozen velvet crabs for £3.99 and whole large cooked frozen edible crabs for £2.99, both are caught on the atlantic side of ireland.
They are pretty good thing to have on a coastal paleo diet, crabs in rockpools make easy pickings and certainly if i can pull out a bucketfull of velvet crabs in an hour our ancestors on the sea must have got loads.

I have done, i flash boil them.
Battered ones i do in the oven (as a cheat meal of course!)

Good recipes for squid are tomato and chilie sauces and med style salads, i've done a fantastic salad with squid, prawns, tuna, tomatoes, spinach, greek olive oil, balsamic vinegar would have been fantastic with a bit of pasta but you know how it is!

As explained in the PM, just chuck the rings in boiling water that is turned off straight away, cook those rings too long and it'll be like chewing on rubber O-rings.

Have been getting into paleo style eating and have found myself slipping more towards paleo food choices. Thought I'd bump this thread and post a few links to paleo related sites (although there isn't much info on any of them that RC can't provide already!):
